At an early age, Todd gained valuable experience with horses in 4-H and in showing at AQHA shows. In the coming years, he would build upon this experience by riding with Tom St. Hilaire where he learned to train and show reining horses. After a few semesters of college, Todd knew that horses were in his blood and worked for one year with Mike Edwards and over five years with Bob Avila. His time with Bob was instrumental in learning how to get horses to the winner’s circle as well as learning the business side of horse training. Today, Todd runs Todd Bergen Performance Horses, Inc. in Eagle Point, Oregon.
